Save a Dime or Two

When it comes to the dating game, people often confuse the best dates to be the most costly. This concept couldn't be farther from the truth. The absolute truth of the matter is that there's only a chosen few that can spend like they're Bill Gates; as for the rest of us common folk - we're left to either be creative and hope our date doesn’t think we’re cheap or spend generously & feel the repercussions later.

Don’t settle for fast food, skip the coupon for that 2 for 1 deal at the nearest mini golfing course – why not have a great date and save you a dime or two at same time. The following are a couple awesome date ideas that can be customized for your every need. Be as creative as you’d like, the more effort you put into the low cost date the more likely your date will consider your efforts flattering & sweet. There’s something quite romantic about a date that hasn’t ever been done before – so don’t think of it as you being cheap, think of it as you being overly romantic!

Art &Science
Take them to a museum or an art exhibit. Having a date at the museum/exhibit can do one of two things. First, it can convey you as a well-rounded individual. Science and art describe how our society was and where were going. Secondly, it will give you and your date constant topics to discuss. You want to be able to keep the conversation alive and keep your date entertained.

Picnics
Packing for a spontaneous picnic is always a fantastic option for a low-cost date. All you’ll need are a few sandwiches, fruit and possibly a bottle of wine to lighten the mood. This will allow some one-on-one time with you and your date as well as a scenic view. There’s nothing more romantic than a little music, a glass of wine and endless fresh air. Picnics can be done at the park, at the beach, or anywhere you find fitting.

Home-cooked meal
Though this is a bit tricky it’s definitely one of the most thoughtful. Dim the lights, light some candles and play soft music in the background. It’ll be as if you’re in a private restaurant if the presentation is handled correctly. Just make sure that before that night you ask your date whether or not they have any food allergies; it would be such a waste to cook something they’re not able to eat. After dinner, a nice dessert can top off the date nicely.
